Nokia’s in-depth video of Lumia 800 forgets the N9

Here is a quite intriguing video of designing the Nokia Lumia 800. It's a well-made video with some interesting interviews of people involved in designing the Lumia 800. But I personally think the most interesting fact of this video is the lack of any mention of Nokia N9. After seeing this video, one could easily conclude that Lumia 800 has been designed from scratch to be Nokia's first Windows Phone, including the polycarbonate unibody and it has no relation what so ever with Nokia N9. In fact, Nokia N9 does not even exist and anyone suggesting otherwise is a heretic! If you don't believe me, just watch this video! Yet I'm holding in my hands something that looks very much like the Lumia 800, but not quite. And oh, it's not running Windows Phone either. This is confusing. I'm having a Macbeth moment here. I have thee not, and yet I see thee still.
